Description
Andarine is a selective androgen receptor modulator that is also known as S-4 and Gtx-007. It was developed by Gtx Inc. and was originally designed to treat muscle-wasting diseases. Its anabolic activity has been viewed to be comparable to testosterone, but unlike anabolic steroids, andarine does not suppress luteinizing hormone (LH) or follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH).
Neither does it increase estradiol levels. As a result, Andarine can increase muscle and bone mass without affecting the prostate and does not result in many of the negative side effects that come with the use of anabolics. Andarine has become popular as a cutting agent since it accomplishes fat loss by decreasing lipoprotein lipase (LPL) levels and decreasing water retention.
